Referral Points Program Information Page

Interested in earning points towards purchases? Then this is where to start. Here's how it works:

1.  For every person you refer that stays active on the Newsletter list for 30 days, you earn 10 points. Points will be tracked by us and we're "planning" a monthly notice of your points, we may opt to use a site page listing with minimal information to show points. We haven't decided yet which way to go, but please be assured that if we do opt for a site page listing, we'll do our very best to be sure your pertinent personal information is not listed, just your name and points would be included.

2.  Every time your referred person makes a purchase you earn 2 points, regardless of their active days or active status. Even if your referred person opts out of the newsletter at any time, you will still earn 2 points every time they purchase. Note: Amount of purchase is not counted here, only each "time" they purchase.

3.  Each time you accumulate 200 points we will email you a Purchase Code that you can use to redeem for $10.00 off an order of $20.00 or more. Codes are redeemable via email orders only. Codes may be enterable on the website during checkout at a future time when our cart software has been updated with this feature, but we'll know more later if this feature will accommodate such a diverse code system or not so for now email orders will be the only way to redeem these codes.

4.  Although your multiple Purchase Codes may be combined the amounts do still need to follow suit. In other words, if you have 2 codes for $10.00 off of a $20.00 order, then you would receive $20.00 off of a $40.00 order and so on. There is no expiration of these codes at this time so you may save them to combine at later dates this way. Should this expiration situation change, you will recieve notice via email in plenty of time to use your codes before hand.
NOTE: Keep in mind multiple codes must be earned by the same person and are not combinable with another person's codes.

5.  Restrictions:
  • Referrers must be active on the Newsletter list to receive points.
  • Re-registrations are not counted as new referrals, they are only reactivated.
  • People that have registered already under one referring person cannot be re-registered under another referrer.
  • Points can be earned by more than one person per household, but each account is separate and are not combinable for the discount codes.
  • Points cannot be applied to Shipping &/or Handling costs.
  • Points are not transferrable, however you're free to use your points for purchases and give anyone your items that you choose, point redemptions must be used by the point holders only.
This system is subject to change at any time. Please bear with us as we form this program to the advantage of us all. We will strive to make this as beneficial to you as it is to us and we hope you will enjoy earning products here at Accessories of the World as much as we're enjoying creating this new program. Do you have a bunch of friends you want to refer? You can have them come to the site and sign up themselves by giving your name and email address as the referrer, or you can fill in the information on the Referral Points Program page for any referrals that you would like to have counted towards your points total.
Each person referred will receive an email explaining why they have been referred (would be much nicer if you also let them know you've referred them), and they will have a chance to opt in or out at that time.

Please be aware that this is by no means a ploy to spam anyone with newsletters, but a viable way to try to get more noticed in the shopping circles and to give you a way to earn products by helping us do that. We have no intentions of forcing emails on anyone and will therefore be giving all prospective referrals a chance to opt out before even being added.
